Conditions of booking Booking You may book by email, phone or post. Payment A deposit of £100 is required to secure your reservation. We need to receive the FULL amount at least 2 weeks before your intended arrival. The deposit is returned to you one week after your departure. Reasonable wear & tear is acceptable, but breakages will be deducted from the deposit. Guests must report any breakage or damage immediately. Cancellation In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is not refundable. If you need to make a cancellation within the two weeks prior to your arranged arrival date please inform us as soon as possible. The deposit is not refundable. We will make every effort to re let the cottage and reimburse you the full amount but if we are not successful you will remain responsible for the balance of the cost. We recommend you take out holiday insurance such as Guest First Holiday Insurance Arrival and departures The premises are not open to arrivals until 4.00 pm. Please inform us of your arrival time. You will need to collect the keys from the office at Arle Lodge which is on the way to Driftwood from the Craignure and Fishnish ferries. Arle Lodge is well signposted and is half way between Salen and Tobermory. On your day of departure please vacate the building by 10:30am leaving the key in the door. Please leave the cottage clean and tidy on departure. Guests Please inform us of all guests occupying the cottage. Occupation of the cottage and use of the facilities are limited to the guests we have been informed of. Should you wish to make alterations to the names or numbers of guests please ensure that you have our prior permission. We may refuse entry to the entire party if you fail to observe this or any other booking condition. Safety You are responsible for your own safety and that of your children at all times. You are responsible for the supervision of your children at all times. We do not accept liability for any personal injury, loss, damage or theft of your property/money however caused or sustained. Concideration Please be respectful of neighbouring houses and keep noise to a minimum after midnight as the property is semi-detached. Pets Guests may not bring pets to the cottages or garden. Payment Payment can be made by Debit card (with no surcharge) or Credit card (with a 3% surcharge). Or let us know that you will be sending a cheque made out to 'Arle Lodge LTD' and send to Arle Lodge (cheques must be received 14 working days before arrival). Alternatively Pay by bank transfer (please contact for information) Please use your name as a reference.
